Saturday 9th – 16th November 2024
The challenge was completed with 100km (60 miles) trekked and lots of steep ups and downs along the way as well as the infamous Patagonian four-seasons-in-one-day weather.
Over $10,000 was raised for the projects which was a fantastic effort and really helps us finish off 2024 and build a foundation, along with the Appeal, for 2025.
We would definitely repeat the challenge in the future if there was interest though if anyone was planning to visit Patagonia in the meantime do have a look at our guiding outfit Walk Patagonia who were fantastic.
The main challenge will be the distances we are aiming to hike per day on the actual 4-day challenge, which is up to 10o kms or 60 miles in total, whilst taking in the beauty of Patagonia and reaching individual sites each day. You will also be carrying all your personal kit for the 4-day trek except food and tents.
This challenge is not altitude hiking though prepare for all seasons in one day with temperatures of between 0-14 degrees celsius or 37 to 60 degrees fahrenheit.
The distances shown below are average distances though can be added to, or reduced, depending on the group and which trail we decide to take each day.
We will plant trees to help cover your carbon footprint for the challenge, including inbound and outbound flights.
